This system comes with the following:
The Go Berkey Kit is designed for backpacking, hiking, camping, college students, world travel (business or vacation), on your desk at work or hundreds of other activities. The generic Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle is perfect for when you are out on the trail and the Go Berkey system works great for passive purification back at the campsite, lodge, etc. The Generic Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle can also be used to prime the Black Berkey Purification Element when water pressure isn't available.
As with all our water purification systems, the Go Berkey Kit is a must during unexpected emergencies. This powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.
The Go Berkey system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces unhealthy heavy metals such as lead and mercury. This system is so powerful it can remove red food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.
Constructed of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel the Go Berkey Kit comes complete with one Black Berkey Purification Element, one generic Sport Berkey portable water purifier bottle and a vinyl carry case This system has a storage capacity of about 1 quart (.95 liters) and when in use it stands 14" in height with a diameter of 4". The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 10" in height. Weighing a mere 2.4 pounds the Go Berkey Kit is lightweight, easily transportable and perfect for active people on the go.
Configured with one Black Berkey purification elements the system will purify up to 1 Gallon (3.8 liters) per hour; that's 24 gallons per day if the system is refilled continuously.
Please note: The Go Berkey is too small to hold a fluoride filter. If you are interested in removing fluoride, please consider the Travel Berkey instead.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I like the size, the stainless steel, and the purification system, as well as portability. I like that I can have freshly purified water throughout the day. It purifies a quart in less than one-half hour. I highly recommend this product. Fast shipping.

I have always hated the taste of tap water and the thought of buying water is ridiculous. Now with the current economic and financial climate I must have a way to fend for myself and this product is perfect for survival. It make a little less than a quart of water in about 30 minutes... less water and more time than promoted but the quality alone is worth every penny paid!!!! Let the power grid crash... let WW3 shake the planet... I have a Go Berkey and all is right by me.

I received my Go Berkey in the mail yesterday to find a bunch of helpful information in the shipping box with a hand written note from someone in customer service at Berkey which listed her private extension if I had any questions. Now that is good customer service! The Go Berkey system is compact yet can filter a good portion of water. The sport bottle is cool looking and has a great design though I haven't used it yet. Priming the filter was a snap although directions for the system weren't very concise but it wasn't rocket science. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and I will be taking it hiking this weekend to test out the sport bottle. I would recommend this to anyone who camps, hikes, or would just like a water filtration system which uses gravity and requires no power source to make safe drinking water.
